Our first match of the season and was pretty hard going for some. However a pleasant day out.

A low turnout. Well done to all those who braved the rain. Mark had a decent fish jump back into the lake from his landing net whilst trying to unhook it.

After a last minute change of venue on arrival – we went to the Marshes and most caught but not up to our usual match standard.

Mark lost his pole on a good fish taking it out to the middle of the lake, and didn’t get it back.
Jim caught a decent sized goldfish

A very warm day bringing mixed fortunes especially for Mark who lost his tackle box in the lake. Any help we can give him to restock would be much appreciated.
