The 2024 Sunday League

30th June, Old Oak Farm

Stevie B and Roger both had clonkers take them way up the lake then smashing them up. Roger also caught (and netted) a duck!

9th June, Bishops Bowl

A cool and breezy day with fishing being of mixed fortunes. Bruce had 4 fish fish of 7lb and over, and Stuart lost 9 hooks on big fish. Some others found fish hard to come by.

19th May, Weedon Lois

A very sunny day for a change where Bruce got his knees and arms burnt. Everyone caught some fish and more got away!

April 28th, Barby Banks

A cold and wet day, and well done to all those who stuck it out. Harty and Stuart both lost clonkers and Mark has one leap out of his landing net

7th April, Barby Banks

A very windy day and choppy water making fishing hard. Feeder seemed to be the choice of the day as float fishing and pole were difficult.

Some ended up in the trees (won’t say who)

17th March, Mill Pool

Our first outing in 2024 … and the big question on everyone’s lips… will it snow?

Well done to all who turned up to make it a full compliment on our first match. Fishing was hard going but most had something.

Stevie B and Roger both lost clonkers.

Well done to Harty for winning the GP – on the first match of the season.
