This is the final match of the season, and everyone is encouraged to attend. The weather may challenge us, but the mince pies, pulled pork and hot drinks will make you feel wonderful again!
Season: 2021
The 2021 Fishing Season
Banks, 26th September
Mixed success on our last match with some struggling to find the fish. However nearly 500lb total for the season is not bad at all. Well done everyone.

Harty killed time by taking photo’s of Dragonflies. Jim had to cope with an ants nest. Mark had one take him into the lily pads.
Biggest Fish 6lb 8oz by Steve Binder

Mark Exley has his first double figure fish. Well done Mark!

A bit hard going for some where the fish were all on the top.
This was the final Wednesday Social match of the season, with Steve Whitehead Snr topping the rankings.

Harty battled a fish one handed when his landing net came off the handle. Steve W had the biggest fish with a 9lb common, followed by Stuart with 8lb 8oz and Paul H with 7lb 1oz
Mill Pools, 4th August
Paul Hale had his rod smashed up bringing in his 11 pounder. Mark Exley has his best bag to date. Roger found it a bit hard going.
July 25th, Boddington Reservoir
Our first visit to Boddington!
I’ve spoken to ‘Keith the Baliff’ and we are on Pegs 27 – 17. This is on the Dam Wall. As you leave the large car park, we miss pegs 29 & 28 and start on 27 and have the pegs down to 17. There is a different match along the rest of the wall.

Harty by admission had his worst day ever having only 3 bites all day!

Steve W. had his rod and reel pulled into the lake and his other rod smashed up a few seconds later. Not a day he will want to remember.
Barby Banks, Wed’s 23rd June
Harty lost a clonker. Drew got smashed up and Jim and Haley had unfavourable pegs and struggled to find decent fish.
